James Allen Carroll, Iii

June 24, 1963 — February 21, 2016

Mr. James Allen Carroll, 52, of Yemassee, entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 1 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.

Born June 24, 1963 in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late James Allen Carroll, Jr. and Frances Davis Carroll.  He was a retired Supervisor with Superior Energy Services in Louisiana.  While he lived in Louisiana, he attended The Father’s House Church; and attended Ridgeville Baptist Church when he returned to live in Yemassee.  He loved fishing, music, watching any show that was about criminal investigations and loved John Wayne.

Surviving are: his wife, Paulina DuPre Carroll of Yemassee; children, Adrianna Carroll of Yemassee and Larry Dombrowski Crochet and his wife Chontell of Louisiana; brother, Arnold Francis Carroll of Yemassee; sisters, Lina Carroll Baughman and her husband Kenneth of Beaufort and Carol Sheldon Boyd and her husband Randy of Travelers Rest; grandchildren, Emmalyn, Leum and Blaze; brother-in-law, Thomas Green of south Carolina; nephews, Nickolas, Matthew, Josh and Dillon; and nieces, Lauren, Randi, Melissa and Shannon.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Justin Carroll and Raymond Dombrowski.
