James R. "Bobby" Williams, Sr.

Mr. James Robert “Bobby” Williams, Sr., 70, of Ehrhardt, entered into rest Sunday morning, November 10, 2024, at Prisma Health in Columbia.

Born November 28, 1953, in Allendale County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Jamie and Helen Chassereau Williams.   He was a supervisor of fifty-five years with F.M. Young Electrical.  He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors, being an avid hunter and fisherman.   He will also be remembered for his love of spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are: three children, Chasity Lyons (Cassidy Lane) of Walterboro, James Robert Williams, Jr. (Jami) of Islandton, and Cody Allen Williams (Hayley) of Islandton; two brothers, Murphy Williams and Roger Williams, a sister, Gloria Folk; seven grandchildren, Taylor Addison (Jack), Hayden Williams, Wyatt Williams, English Lane, Grady Williams, Amelia Williams and Weston Williams; and a great grandchild, Noah Ellis Addison.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Wooten.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Thursday morning, November 14, 2024, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Ehrhardt.  The Reverend Mike Polk officiating.   The family will greet friends following the funeral ceremony.
