Mr. Jacob Jackson McCranie, 21, of Cottageville, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Thursday afternoon, February 18, 2016 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2 pm until the hour of service.
Born March 24, 1994 in Charleston, SC, he was a son of Hubert Jackson McCranie and Jennifer Joyner McCranie. He was an employee of Harris-McBurney. He was a member of Refuge Church. Jacob enjoyed hunting, fishing, being on the water, and cooking with his family and friends. Most of all, he was a loving husband and father who loved his family more than anything and cared for his friends dearly.
Surviving are: his wife, Savannah Leigh Steen; parents, Hubert and Jenny McCranie of Cottageville; children, Benjamin Jackson McCranie and Faith Leigh McCranie both of the home; grandmother, Rebecca Joyner; brother, William Mauldin and his wife Kim of Ridgeville; sisters, Nicole Segura and her husband Michael of Walterboro and Tiffany Garlock and her husband Drew of Summerville; step sisters, Tracey Davis and Tonya Davis; nephews, Bradley, Carter, Kyler, Bentley, Jarrid, and Teagan; and nieces, Tabitha and Taylor. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kurt Clinton Mauldin.
