J. Wade Allen

Mr. J. Wade Allen, 83, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center.

Mr. Allen was born April 18, 1940, in Whiteville, North Carolina. He was a retired Business Manager for Orangeburg County-Holly Hill School District.

Surviving are: his wife of thirty-five years, Mrs. Dawn Poteat Allen of Cottageville; and his sister, Francis Love of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, March 9, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Fox Cemetery, Wesley Grove Road, Cottageville.
