Isabelle Winstead

VARNVILLE- Mrs. Isabelle Sheppard Winstead, 59, of 94 Josephs Drive, died Monday, October 05, 2009 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.



Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Johnson-St-Paul Cemetery in Hampton.



Mrs. Winstead was born June 1, 1950 in Hampton and was a daughter of the late Herman Sheppard and Ethel Bennett Crosby. She was a retired store manger at the GATE Station in Hampton. She enjoyed fishing and making things such as ceramics.



Surviving are: her husband, John Cook of Fairfax; daughters, Annette Harvey of Augusta, Georgia, Tammy Cook of Hampton, Elaine Stevens of Hampton and Ann Firster of Hampton; brothers, Jesse Sheppard of Ehrhardt, Hagood Crosby, Amos Crosby, Leon Crosby and Ethrom Crosby; sister, Rebecca Norton; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
