Mrs. Isabella Adams Catterton, 93, of Yemassee, entered into rest Friday afternoon, June 30, 2023, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was the loving wife of the late Reverend Arnold Roosevelt Catterton.
Born July 20, 1929, in Colleton County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Dan Eddie Adams and the late Ronella Nettles Adams. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She stood faithfully beside her husband as he served many pastorates throughout South Carolina in the Church of God; having served mostly notably for thirty-three years at the Hardeeville Church of God. She has been a faithful member for nearly fifty years of the Church of God. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. She was a prayer warrior and was a mother to many having unknown spiritual sons and daughters.
She was preceded in death by her two children, Paul Arnold Catterton, Sr. and Linda Ann Hone; and is survived by their children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren as well as a son-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o’clock Monday morning, July 3, 2023, from the graveside at Black Creek Baptist Churchyard, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro. Pastor Bruce Fox and Pastor Roger Smoak officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in the social hall of Black Creek Baptist Church.
