Irvin Smith

BEAUFORT " Mr. Irvin Parker Smitty Smith, 57, of Beaufort, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 23, 2009. Mr. Smith was born June 12, 1952, in Summerville and was a son of the late Irvin Chalmers Doc Holiday Smith and the late Sally Smith. He was an important part of Dr. Tire, able to sell ice cubes to an Eskimo, full of charm and personality. He was a member of the Straight Shooter Band, bringing cheer and love to many through his music.



A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 30, 7:00 p.m., at the VFW on Castlerock Road in Beaufort.



Surviving are: his wife, Lisa Jo Smith; three daughters, Jennifer Smith, Sara Jo Smith and Shari Lynn Smith; three sisters, Karen Stevens, Lori Smith and Eva Smith; and his step-mother, Sherri P. Smith.
