Biography
Mrs. Ina Blanche Lee, 90, of Lightsey Street Extension, Hampton, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her residence. She was the widow of Cole Blease Lee, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at West End Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born December 18, 1920 in Barnwell County and was a daughter of the late Ollie and Bessie Morris Barker. She was a retired employee of Westinghouse. She was a devoted and faithful member of West End Baptist Church, where she was a former teacher of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class, WMU Leader and choir member. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, her church and her church family.
Surviving are: her children, Beatrice Ina Lee Hotchkiss of Allendale, Cole Blease Lee, Jr. and his wife Iris of Luray, Barbara Ann Lee Donehue and her husband Wayne of Hampton, Bobby Gene Lee and his wife Bobbie of Hampton, and Bessie Mell Lee Bridges of Hampton; 33 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne Lee; a daughter, Sarah Olive Lee; son-in-laws, Walter W. Hotchkiss and James H. Bridges, Sr.; and brothers, Freddy Elkins, Charlie Elkins and Joseph Elkins.
