Ida Mae Crosby

Mrs. Ida Mae Crosby, 94, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, September 16, 2017 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Evergreen Christian Church Cemetery, Bells Highway, Walterboro.
Born October 18, 1922 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Ira Lewis Risher and Ella Donnie Langdale Risher. She was a retired seamstress from Smoaks Manufacturing and was a member of Evergreen Christian Church. She loved sewing and gardening.
Surviving are: her son, Thomas Martin “Skippy” Crosby and his wife Carol of Walterboro; grandchildren, Matthew August and his wife Skylar of Elizabethtown, North Carolina and Jessica Carson and her husband Brett of Sevierville, Tennessee; great granddaughter, Autumn August; and a brother, Ladson Risher of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira Lewis Risher, Jr., LeRoy Risher, Heyward Risher, Derrell Risher, Bobby Riser, and Jimmy Risher; and her sisters, Thelma Risher, Rudell Rivers, Alice Eads, Ethel Hiott, Ruby Dees, and Fay Atwood.
