Mr. Hunter Lawton Plummer, 24, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia.
Born October 15, 2000, he was a son of Sara Nettles and Josh Plummer. If you knew Hunter, you loved him. He possessed a giving heart and would help anyone that he could and never turned away anyone that asked him for help. He had many skills, trades, and hobbies; but his most favorite, undoubtably, would be fixing his car as well as friends and family. If he wasn’t working, you could find him in a deer stand.
Surviving are: his mother, Sara Nettles (Robbie Shaffer) of Walterboro; his father, Josh Plummer of Nixville; two children, Hazel Plummer (6) and Kevin Plummer (3); a brother, Justin Plummer; and a sister, Robin Plummer. He is survived by his grandparents, Linda and Buddy Cummings, Jimmy and Lynn Nettles, and Vergie Plummer; as well as a host of cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Josh Plummer, Sr.
I lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to: Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, April 11, 2025, from the graveside in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
