Biography
Mr. Howard Taylor Smith, 51, of Ficken Road entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 o' clock am, Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Grimes Cemetery in Grays.
Mr. Smith was born October 17, 1960 in Waterloo, Iowa and was a son of Charles Leroy Smith and Gwendolyn Barnes Smith. He was a retired install repairman for CenturyLink. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He along with his brother won the trophy for fishing in the Water Festival contest.
Surviving in addition to his father of Columbia, SC and his mother of Beaufort, SC are; his daughter, Sarah Smith and his granddaughter, Cadence Hadwin both of Early Branch, brothers, Eric Smith of Columbia, Charlie Smith and Mike Smith both of Beaufort and sisters, Debra Shephard of MN and Rina Baker of Beaufort.
