Homer J. Younker, Sr.

Mr. Homer John Younker, Sr., 76, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, February 23, 2025, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.    He was the husband of the late Sharon Sue Younker.

Born April 2, 1948, in Wadsworth, Ohio, he was a son of the late Homer Wesley Younker and the late Rose Marie Seamon Younker.  He served our country faithfully in the United States Army and was a retired commercial truck driver.

Surviving:  a daughter, Amy Moyer (Jerrel) of Round O; two sisters, Eileen Schempp and Kathy Raubenolt; and seven grandchildren, Chris Moyer, Shannon Moyer, Wesley Sadzewicz, Brett Sadzewicz, Joey Scarbo, Tabitha Younker, and Heather Saladi.  He was preceded in death by his son, Homer J. Yonker, Jr.
