Graveside Services for Henry C. Shumpert, 80, will be conducted 2:00 pm  Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Smyly Family Cemetery in Ruffin, SC. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ASPCA, 199 Willow Rd., Aiken, SC 29801

Born in Leesville, he was a son of the late Farrell and Sallie Mae Rodgers Shumpert. Mr. Shumpert was associated with Moffett Burris Builders for over 42 years in construction and was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He traveled the world hunting and fishing and built a hospital in Africa.

Surviving are his wife, Gina Smyly Shumpert; brother, Forrest Shumpert (Jeanette); sisters, Iona Cooper (Alton), Sherry Nicewonger (Kevin); nieces and nephews.
