Mr. Henry Ernest Rorer, Jr., 86, of Forest Circle Road, Walterboro, and also a resident of the Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday evening, May 2, 2013, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro under the care of Odyssey Hospice.
Born October 15, 1926, a native of Lynchburg, Virginia, he was a son of the late Henry Ernest Rorer, Sr. and the late Addie Bell Bailey Rorer. He served his country faithfully in the United States Navy during World War II; and was also a pilot for Gulfstream having flown the aircrafts G1-4 and having retired as a G4 pilot. After his retirement, he continued to maintain his accreditation and licensure through various private work. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.
Surviving are: his loving and devoted wife of sixty-six years, Mrs. Marilyn Dunning Rorer of Walterboro; and a daughter, Linda Frances Rorer of Hilton Head Island. He was preceded in death by three children, Judith, Henry, III, and James.
