Mr. Henry Hollins Bazzle, Jr., affectionately known by Pudge, age 71, entered into rest Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014, at his residence on Peurifoy Road in Walterboro following an extended illness. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Helen Varnadoe Bazzle.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 oclock Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service beginning at 1:30 that afternoon in the Parlor of the mortuary.
Born May 3, 1943, a native of Colleton County, South Carolina he was a son of the late Henry Ray Bazzle and the late Lila Eudell Crosby Bazzle. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army and for twenty-eight years worked with great dedication as a loom fixer at J.P. Stevens in Walterboro. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 1988 in Walterboro. Fishing was Pudges life and greatest affection outside of his late wife and family. He had attended the Walterboro Church of God.
Surviving are: two sons, Danny Ray Bazzle and his Fiance Wendy Davis of Walterboro and West Hollins Bazzle and his wife Bonnie of Walterboro; a daughter, Sherie Anna Lemacks and her husband Melvin of Walterboro; three sisters, Hazel Morris of Walterboro, Lila Sloan of Walterboro, and Carolyn Stanley of Hampton; and a sister-in-law, Ann Wade of Walterboro. There are twenty-one grandchildren and elven great grandchildren that also survive.
