Mrs. Henrietta Barfield Guyton, 86, of Cottageville, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at her residence. She was the widow of The Reverend Jessie J. Guyton.
Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Thursday evening, January 25, 2018 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Ravenel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Born June 17, 1931 in Johnsonville, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Cleveland Barfield and Lucy Bell Powell Barfield. She loved going to church, singing and playing the piano. She dearly loved her chihuahua, Baby; and most of all, loved her family unconditionally.
Surviving are: 4 children; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister. She was preceded in death by 1 son and 2 sisters.
