Biography

Mrs. Hendrina Koeman Nichols, 76, of Rehoboth Road, Cottageville, entered into rest Friday evening, March 29, 2014, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Mr. Thomas Jerry Nichols who died in 2011.

A celebration of her life will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 2, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.

Born March 15, 1938, a native of The Haque, Netherlands, she still to his day was a citizen of Holland, Netherlands. Hendrina was well known among the locals of our community because of her numerous years as working as a waitress in the Waffle House in Walterboro. She will be fondly remembered for her love of Bingo.

Surviving are: two sons, Ronnie Agerbeek and his wife Carrie of Cottageville and Richard Agerbeek and his wife Leja of Manhattan, New York; and two brothers, Henkie Koeman and Jampie Koeman both of Holland, Netherlands. There are five grandchildren, Cary Agerbeek, Steven Agerbeek, Jamie Agerbeek, Penny Agerbeek, and Max Agerbeek; and three great grandchildren, Reese, Ragann, and David; as well as a beloved friend of over forty years, Mrs. Tina Cristiensen and her husband Phillip.
