Helen Reeves

Mrs. Margaret Helen Hoff Reeves, 71, of Cottageville, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Colleton Medical Center. She was the widow of James E. Reeves, Jr.



Graveside funeral services will be held 1 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Reeves Family Cemetery, 491 Timber Bay Drive, Cottageville.



Mrs. Reeves was born August 8, 1937 in Colleton County and was a daughter of Hugo ONeil Hoff and Annie Mae Hickman Hoff. She was the owner and operator of Baskets and Bows in Walterboro; former owner of Wee Kare Day School in Charleston; and was the former secretary for St. Andrews First Baptist School. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.



Surviving are: her children, Margaret Dianne Long and her husband Mark of Greenwood, Janice ONeil Duncan and her husband Greg of Summerville, James E. Reeves, III of Cottageville and Samantha Reeves Crosby and her husband Stephen of Cottageville; sister, Alice Lillibridge and her husband Bob of Jacksonville, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
