Heather Strickland Petit, 40, of Charleston, entered into rest Monday, August 2, 2021, at her residence.
Born August 11, 1980, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Mrs. Bonnie Berry Sikes and the late Robert Gerald Sharpe. She received her Bachelors degree from the University of South Carolina and was a registered nurse having worked in administration at Oakwood Health Care Center in Walterboro. She was a member of the former Living Word Church in Walterboro. She loved photography as well as singing. Heather will always be remembered for the sharp and feisty personality that she possessed always being a free-spirited person who had a large and loving heart.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Walterboro are: two children, Carly Draper and her husband Robert of Walterboro and Miles Strickland of Walterboro; a sister, Shelby Kirby of Walterboro; and four grandchildren, Adi, Graclyn, Kingston, and Mila. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Gloria Berry and her children’s father, David Strickland.
