Biography

Ms. Hattie Alberta Ann Davis Hickman, 82, of Kinard Road, Ravenel, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at White Church Cemetery in Ravenel.

Ms. Hickman was born September 27, 1929 in Orangeburg and was a daughter of the late Henry Davis and Bertha Robertson Davis. She loved spending her time fishing.

Surviving are: her children, James Hickman of Round O, Henry Hickman of Round O, Patricia Crosby of Walterboro, Louwanna Warren of Charleston and Brenda Kelly of Walterboro; 18 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children, Lillian Grooms, Shirley Hickman and J.T. Hickman; a grandson, Timmy Evans; and four brothers, James Davis, John Davis, Boyd Davis and Edward Davis.
