Harry Mizzell, age 67, entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, February 11th 2022, at Trident Medical Center.
He was born November 21, 1954, in Summerville, South Carolina, he was a son to the late Mr. Vertis E. Mizzell and the late Mrs. Rosalee Grooms Mizzell.
Harry was a man that liked his hunting and his fishing. Over the many years spent together he enjoyed trail riding with his wife, Sharon. In his earlier days he loved to race cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. For most of his life he worked in carpentry. Known as a great carpenter and for his work, it wasn’t a job, it was his passion. Harry was an overall fun loving man, who cherished times with his family, had kids and others drawn to him and who loved to celebrate, especially his birthday.
He is survived by: his wife, Sharon R. Ryan-Mizzell of Ruffin; his daughters, Lucinda Mizzell (Tina) of Hanahan and Katrina Ryan of Ruffin; grandchildren, Grace “PeeWee” Ryan and Taylor Mason; and a great-grandchild, Tyler Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Harry’s life will be held 3 o’clock, Friday afternoon, February 18, 2022, at the Brice W. Herndon’s- Walterboro Chapel, 1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, S.C. The Reverend Cheri Yates will be officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service.
