Harry Lee Harvey, Sr

Mr. Harry Lee Harvey, Sr., of Sheldon, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Early Branch.

Mr. Harvey was born September 27, 1942 in Hampton County and was a son of the late Wilson Harvey, Sr. and Birdie Stanley Harvey. He was the retired owner and operator of Harvey Enterprises and had owned Harvey’s Grocery in Sheldon. He loved driving his truck, but especially loved working on his property.

Surviving are: his children, Harry Lee Harvey, Jr. of Walterboro, William Harvey of Savannah, GA, Terri Harvey of Walterboro, and Steven Harvey of Manning; brother, Rufus Harvey of Charleston; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Harvey, Jr.
