Harry Jordan Doyle, Jr.

Mr. Harry Jordan Doyle, Jr., age 93, entered into rest early Thursday morning, November 5, 2015, at his home on Sagebrush Road in Smoaks.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:30am Monday morning, November 9, 2015, from Buckhead Advent Christian Church, 420 Adobe Flats Lane, Smoaks. The Reverend J. E. Lyons officiating. Mr. Doyle will be laid to rest at Old School Baptist Cemetery in Hopewell, New Jersey.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am that morning prior to the funeral ceremony in the church sanctuary.
Born June 21, 1922, in Neshanic Station, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Harry Jordan Doyle, Sr. and the late Margaret Ann Kintner Doyle. He was a dairy farmer prior to moving to South Carolina. He was a retired employee of Asten Hill in Walterboro and was formerly employed by Rexal Drug and Chemical. He was a member of Buckhead Advent Christian Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Marie Stryker Doyle; a son, Dr. Thomas E. Doyle and a daughter, Nancee Bennett of New York State; a step-son, Ralph Merle Stout of Oregon; and two step-daughters, Lorraine S. Eddy of South Carolina and Nancy S. Roberts of North Carolina. There are fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren that also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, Jordan Doyle; and a sister, Grace Nichols.
