Harold Zorn, Sr. of Walterboro, SC, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2025 at 10:51 AM, Wednesday.
He was born January 1, 1939, to the late William Harold Zorn and Annie Mae Hatfield (Zorn, Fabian) of Sumter, SC. Mr. Zorn was a proud veteran of the USMC achieving the rank of Sergeant. Before his retirement in 1963, he was a truck driver for years before returning to school in 1980 to receive his high school equivalency at the age of 41. He continued his education, earning a degree in Auto Body Repair. He became a Lexington County Solid Waste Superintendent, an SC Governors Officer/Constable, a real estate agent as well as a volunteer firefighter. He received numerous awards and certificates of appreciation over the years from work and church.
Mr. Zorn is preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Mrs. Linda Marlowe Zorn, of 54 years; two brothers, Ken Zorn and Dan Fabian; 2 sisters Alice Zorn Vaughan and Carol Zorn Hendrix.
Surviving Mr. Zorn are his children Harold Franklin Zorn, Jr (Stephanie); Cindy Sigmon and Jane Uhls of Conover, NC; Lane Burkett of Batesburg, SC; three sisters Claudette Jackson of N. Charleston, SC, Cathy Fabian Feagin of Goose Creek, SC and Elaine Barksdale of N. Augusta, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Zorn's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cottageville Church of the Nazarene.
