Biography

Mr. Harold William Warren, Sr., 67, of Buckhead Road, Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held two o'clock Friday, March 9, 2012, at Sandy Dam United Methodist Church in Walterboro, burial following in the church cemetery.

Mr. Warren was born April 14, 1944 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Charles English Warren and Hattie Long Warren. He was the manger of H&D Supermarket in Walterboro for the past 6 years; and retired as a Production Manager from Asten-Johnson in Walterboro, where he had worked for 40 years. He was a devoted and faithful member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and Lay Leader of the church. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his church and his family.

Surviving are: his wife, Linda Lyons Warren of Smoaks; children, Carla Warren Flanders of Smoaks and Harold William Warren, Jr. of Smoaks; grandchildren, Andrew Scott Bunton, Jr., Harold William Warren, III, Amanda Nicole Warren, Katie Lee Warren and Nicholas Warren Flanders; great grandchildren, Andrew Bunton, Landon Bunton and Cian Warren; brothers, Thomas Warren and Michael Warren, both of Walterboro; and sister, Ruby Harriott of Walterboro.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 6 until 8 at the Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro, SC 29488. 843-538-5408.
