Mrs. Gracie Ann Gill OQuinn, 72, of Walterboro entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was the wife of Cleveland McRay OQuinn.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Monday, December 23, 2013, at Black Creek Baptist Church, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro. The Reverend Scott Hanna officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 oclock Monday at the church.
Mrs. OQuinn was born March 29, 1941 in Colleton County. She was a daughter of the late James T. Gill and Wilton Blocker Gill. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church where she held many positions through the years. She was a retired bank service manager. She was a member of WIRE and was an active volunteer with the Beaufort Marine Institute. She was a graduate of the last class from Hendersonville High School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, James K. OQuinn and his wife MyLinda, Frank A. OQuinn and his wife Kelley, and Brian P. OQuinn all of Walterboro, one sister, Kathryn G. Walker and her husband Bernard of Walterboro, two grandchildren, Jared A. OQuinn and Ryan M. OQuinn and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary G. Rhode.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Black Creek Baptist Church in care of Joyce Stynchcomb, 1837 Edward Road, Walterboro, SC 29488.
