SMOAKS- Mrs. Grace Williams Lyons, 80, of Berea Road, Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hagan Cemetery in Smoaks.

Born December 23, 1933 in Branchville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Harry Williams and Georgie Webster Williams. She was a faithful member of Buckhead Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Grace was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family and her Lord; and anyone who knew her, loved her. She was an excellent cook who prepared lunch for her entire family every Sunday and was famous for her pecan pies. She was an avid Gamecock and Elvis Presley fan.

Surviving are: her husband of 65 years, Gerald Lyons, Sr. of Smoaks; children, Geraldine Craven and her husband Billie of Smoaks, William Lyons and his wife Libbi of Smoaks, Jerry Lyons and his friend Theresa Crosby of Smoaks, Barbara Lyons of Smoaks, and David Lyons and his wife Annette of Walterboro; daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith Lyons of Smoaks; brothers, James Williams and his wife Jane of Orangeburg, Billy Williams and his wife Peggy of Orangeburg and Larry Williams and his wife Jean of Orangeburg; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lyons.
