Gloria Padgett

Miss Gloria Jean Padgett, 49, of Williston, died Sunday morning, August 31, 2008, at her sisters residence in Lodge following an extended illness and under the care of Palmetto Health Care Hospice.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Wednesday morning, September 3, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.



Mrs. Padgett was born October 25, 1958, in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Eugene Padgett and the late Helen Carson Padgett. She was of the Southern Baptist Faith and will be remembered by all that knew her for being such a special and loving person, who was outgoing, always enjoying good music.



Surviving are: four sisters, Geraldine Tracy of Ruffin, Barbara Vance of Ruffin, Patricia Jennings of Fairfax, and Elizabeth Wiggins of Lodge; and two brothers, Michael Padgett and Ricky Padgett both of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Ramsey and Alice Toomer.
