Glen Jones

Mr. Glenn Harold Jones, 61, of Walterboro, died Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010.



Funeral services will be conducted 7:30pm Thursday evening, June 10, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment with military honors will be held 11:30 Friday morning, June 11, 2010, at Beaufort National Cemetery, 124 Boundry Street, Beaufort.



A native of Walterboro he was a son of the late Chalmers and Grace Altman Jones. He served his country in the Air Force as a Sergeant and was a former employee of T.J. Max in Greenville. He was a member of Grace Advent Christian Church and the Disabled American Veterans and was an avid fisherman.



Surviving are: a sister, Gladys J. Smoak and her husband Rev. Roger L. Smoak of Walterboro; his step-mother, Rachel Herndon Jones of Walterboro; five nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas O. Jones.
