Gilford Sanders

Mr. Gilford Sanders, 56, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, October 25, 2026, at the Veterans Victory House.

Born July 12, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the biological son of Isreal Sanders and Irene Morgan. Robert served his country faithfully in the United States Army. After his military career, he worked as a cook in the food service industry. Gilford loved his family and the time they spent together. He was a gamer and loved fast cars.

Surviving are: his two daughters, Sydney Sanders of North Charleston and Cheyenne (Xavier) McCutchen of St. Stephens; his second Mom Betty Moore; brothers Adam (Allison) Moore and Scottie (Jennifer) Moore both of Walterboro; sisters Roslyn Sanders of Columbia and Kim (Mike) Moore of Walterboro.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jay Sanders.
