Geraldine Ann Tanksley

Mrs. Geraldine “Gerry” Ann Moore Tanksley,80, of Yemassee, entered into rest Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Memorial Heath Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

Born February 16, 1942, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was a daughter of Nathan and Goldie Barker. Gerry was known for her love of being a beautician, cooking, playing canasta and square dancing. She was the happiest when she was telling jokes and enjoyed being the life of the party.

Surviving are: a son, Bobby (Janie), a daughter, Robin; sister, Barbara Kester; grandchildren, Robby, Jamie (Stephanie), Mallory, Justin, CJ (Susan) and Scott (Sarah); five great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husbands, Robert Moore and Laurence Tanksley, infant son, Timothy O’Neal Moore; sisters, Maggie and Karen, and one great grandchild.

A Graveside service will be held 10 o’clock Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Yemassee.  Pastor Tony Settles officiating.
