Georgia Ruth Stanfield

Mrs. Georgia Ruth Stanfield, 92, entered into rest Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at her home in Cottageville.   She was the wife of the late Mr. Hubert Allen Stanfield.

Born October 26, 1925, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late George Hampton Robertson and the late Minnie Lee Cook Robertson.  She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are: a son, Sonny Hudson of Columbia; a sister, Juanita Robertson of Cottageville; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Thursday morning, April 26, 2018, from the graveside at Mount Carmel United Methodist Churchyard, 5277 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.  The Reverend John Woods officiating.
