George Howard Frazier

George Howard Frazier, 73, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, May 29, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center.

George was born August 12, 1948, in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  He was a son to the late Mr. William Floyd Frazier, Jr. and the late Mrs. Martha Jeanette Emmons Frazier.  He was married for fifty-one years to Mrs. Charlene “Babe” and or “Hun” Gail Clark Frazier.

George was someone who never met a stranger, had lots of friends and was the ray of sunshine to many people.  He genuinely loved people and people genuinely loved him.  His family was above all most important to him, especially his K-9 companion, Delilah.  He was an avid jack of all trades, a collector of many things that included guns, coins, flashlights and knifes.  Metal detecting and shooting pool were a few of his enjoyed hobbies.  He loved his Lord and Savior and loved reading the bible.  He was a retired veteran military personnel serving in the Marines and Air Force.   He was also known to love and enjoy his coffee, all genres of music; especially gospel songs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Frazier Reeves (Matt) and Kelly Frazier Groves (Davi); his grandchildren, Reese Dantzler (Maya), Amber Reeves (Davontay), Kayla Marin (Derick), Caleb “C.J” Groves and Christopher Matthew George Reeves (Elizabeth); great-grandchildren, Branson Wells Dantzler, Owyn Banks Marin and one great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Deborah Demanaro; sister-in-laws; Terry Patterson (Earl) and Debbie Miranda (Martin); a brother-in-law, Michael Clark (Pam); and special friends, Deedee McCubbins and Kathy Colson.  He is also survived by his dear “Bubba” and “Little Bubba”; his K-9 Companion, Delilah; a host of nieces and nephews and several family members in West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Holdeby; and brothers, Patrick Frazier and Jim Frazier.

Memorial services will be conducted 11 o’clock, Thursday morning, June 2, 2022, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service.
