Gay Hill

Mrs. Gay Hurst Hill, 83, of Fairfax, passed away Friday morning, June 25, 2021, at the John E. Harter Nursing Center.  She was the wife of the late Garnet B. Hill.

Born December 15, 1937, in Meridian, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Judson Hurst and Lavern Gates Hurst.  She was a devoted wife who enjoyed traveling with her husband and participating in his Shriner’s events.

Surviving are: her sisters, Vivian Stokes of Florida and Carolyn Moulder of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Judy Hurst; niece, Rebecca Kite; and nephew, Bill Kite.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Anne Whaley; and a brother, Arthur J. Hurst.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Monday morning, June 28, 2021, at Ebenezer Cemetery, Yemassee.
