Fred A. McMillan

Mr. Fred A. McMillan, age 75, entered into rest Tuesday morning, December 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family at his home in the heart of Green Pond. Fred was the husband of Mrs. Alice Remley McMillan. He, for countless years, was the beloved pianist of Green Pond Baptist Church and as a retired timber cruiser, having owned and operated a successful timber business, Ozbolt and Register, Inc., with his friend and partner the late Wayne Register for many years.

Arrangements for his funeral in Green Pond Baptist Church are incomplete at this time and will be announced Wednesday by Brice Herndon’s Walterboro Chapel, 843.538.5408.
