It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Frank Hugh Wilson Sr. of 458 Carolina Circle, Walterboro, South Carolina. He was born on May 8, 1948, to Fred Ervin and Maude Wilson in Charleston, South Carolina. He was widowed from Carolyn G. Wilson after 30 years of marriage.
Frank retired from Dayco after 35 years of service as a Lab Technician. He was heavily active in his church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and Boy Scout Troop 686. He was Assistant Scout Master and a Committee Chairman for his troop. He loved people and helping others. He loved cooking on his grand grill and spending time with friends and family. He always brought laughter wherever he went. He will forever be missed and remembered for his laughter, story-telling, love of grilling, love of his Boy Scout family, and love for his family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Frank Hugh Wilson Jr. (Kimberly Wilson) of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; a daughter, Marie E. Wilson of Walterboro, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Sophia R. Wilson of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; a brother, Fred E. Wilson Jr. (Kathleen Wilson) of James Island, South Carolina; a sister, Mary Jo Vantine (George Vantine) of James Island, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 106 May Street. A Celebration of Mr. Frank’s life will be held immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be held privately at Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
