Mr. Frank Wallace OQuinn, 68, of Luray Highway, Hampton, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Sunday, July 25, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Walterboro.
Mr. OQuinn was born December 19, 1941 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Elmer and Trudy Thompson OQuinn. He was a retired welder from American Machining and Manufacturing, served his country in the US Navy and was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church in Walterboro. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing and working with his flowers. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads and loved his family, who will miss him greatly.
Surviving are: his sisters, Sara Clifton of Hampton and Sylvia OQuinn of Ladson; nieces, Kim Moody (Mike) of North Carolina, Kelly Rhoden of Hampton, Julie Long (Mel) of Hampton and Wendy Kinard (Steven) of Sycamore; nephews, Mike Clifton (Nancy) of Hampton, Mark Clifton (Paula) of Nixville and Wally Clifton (Tara) of Hampton; and many great nieces and nephews.
