Frances Ackerman

Frances T. Ackerman, 95, of Longwood, Florida, passed away November 7, 2015. She was the widow of Randolph J. Ackerman, to whom she was married for 72 years.
Mrs. Ackerman was born July 27, 1920 in Opelika, Alabama. She is survived by her loving children: Barbara Carter of Apopka, FL, James Ackerman of Raleigh, NC, Melanie Barrett of Longwood, FL and Linda Dickle of Longwood, FL; sister Mary Grace Williams of Lenoir City, TN; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Ackerman Cemetery, Lemuel Road, Round O.
