Floyd Nettles, Jr.

Mr. Floyd Vander Nettles, Jr., 68, of Walterboro, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at MUSC.
Mr. Nettles was born August 19, 1947 in Walterboro and was a son of the late Floyd Vander Nettles, Sr. and Ruth Hilton Nettles. He served his country in the South Carolina Army National Guard. Mr. Nettles worked for the Charleston Naval Shipyard and then went to work for SPAWAR of Charleston, where he retired as a computer specialist. After retirement, he greatly enjoyed working in his garden.
Surviving are: his wife of 44 years, Kathy Breland Nettles of Walterboro; daughter, Nichole Nettles of Johns Island; brother, Robert “Mudflap” Nettles of Walterboro; and 3 nieces, Ruth Ann Nettles Way of Walterboro, Regina Nettles Gonzalez of Inverness, Florida, and Missy Nettles Volp of Walterboro.
