Biography
Mrs. Evlyn Dorothy Woods, 73, of Cottageville Highway in Cottageville, entered into rest Monday afternoon, September 23, 2013, at her residence.
Born January 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Eugene Wallace and the late Jane Richardson Woodruff, she was a native of Atlanta, Georgia having made Colleton County her home for the past twenty-four years. She was a retired claims examiner, having worked for various insurance providers during her career.
Surviving are: her husband, Mr. Carl Andrew Woods; two daughters, Pamela Borghi of Red Bank, New Jersey and Alison Kohlenberg of Centralia, Washington; and a step-daughter, Dawn N. Ratner of Pooler, Georgia. There are seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren that also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Wallace.
