Eva Sires

ADAMS RUN " Mrs. Eva Irene Crosby Sires, 91, of Adams Run, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 03, 2009 at Mount Pleasant Manor. She was the widow of the late Allen E. Sires.



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 6869 Parkers Ferry Road, Adams Run.



Mrs. Sires was born July 26, 1918 in Walterboro and was a daughter of the late Ernest M. Crosby and Mary K. Sutcliffe Crosby. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing with her late husband, listening to hymns and talking with her friends.



Surviving are: her daughter, Judy Sires Perry and her husband Ivy of Adams Run; granddaughter, Nancy Miller and her husband Ray of Adams Run; brother, David F. Crosby of Walterboro; and sister, Earline Stokes of Cottageville.
