Erna Pappas

Mrs. Erna Lore Pappas, 83, of 267 Carolina Circle, Walterboro, died Friday afternoon, October 24, 2008, at her residence under the care of United Hospice.



Mrs. Pappas was born September 23, 1925, in Stugardt, Germany, and was a daughter of the late Paul Ernest Kaercher and the late Gertrude Kaercher. She was of the Evangelical Lutheran Faith and was a retired sales clerk from Eckerd Drug Store. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mother.



Surviving are: her husband of fifty-eight years, Mr. Harry Zachary Pappas; one son, Harry L. Hank Pappas of Walterboro; a grandson, Zackary Pappas of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and two great grandchildren; Paisley and Thea Pappas.



Funeral services will be held privately.
