Ms. Erika Clairee Abbott, 85, of Cottageville, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2017, at Hollander Senior Living in Monroe, Georgia. She was the widow of Mr. Earl Edward Abbott.
Born March 10, 1931, in the Rehn River Valley of Germany, she was a daughter of the late Hermann Schneider and the late Erna Proessel Schneider. She was a retired civil service accountant and attended the Cottageville Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are: her son, Kevin Abbott; as well as devoted caregivers whom she loved as her own, E. Ann Hager and Claudia Lee Beonsch. She was preceded in death by someone whom she dearly loved as a son, Brad Hager.
