Eric Wayne Wassel

Mr. Eric Wayne Wassel, entered into eternal life January 23, 2020, following a brief illness.

He was born March 30, 1951; having served our country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and was a Deputy Sheriff for Beaufort County.  He is survived by his wife, Carrie Wassel of Helen, Georgia; two sons, Michael W. Wassel of Pennsylvania and Alonzo Davis and his wife Sharon of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Brittany Giles of Beaufort, Sierra Giles of Mexico, and Phillip Giles of Virginia, and Jena Wassel of Pennsylvania; and three great grandchildren as well as a beloved host of friends.

Funeral services with military honors will be conducted 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, March 30, 2020, in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
