Mrs. Elois “Lois” Bunch Kinsey, 91, formerly of Ehrhardt, entered into rest Friday, May 28, 2021 at NHC in Garden City. She was the widow of the late Charles Maxwell Kinsey, Jr., to whom she was married for 47 years.

Born April 8, 1930 in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Hilton Waring Bunch and Leitha Mixon Bunch.  She was a graduate of Berkeley High School.  Mrs. Lois spent most of her adult life in Ehrhardt.  She was a retired secretary from Ehrhardt Elementary School and also helped her late husband run their store, Farmers Trade Store, in Ehrhardt.  Upon retirement, they moved to Manning, where she lived about 25 years.  “LoLo” as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren and friends, was a fun-loving individual who loved to dance, play cards, and truly enjoyed her many friends.

Surviving are: her children, Charles “Chuck” Maxwell Kinsey, III and Reneé Kinsey Culbertson (Ben); grandchildren, Jay Culbertson (Victoria), Max Culbertson (Sammi) and Maggie Culbertson; and great grandchildren, Harper Hayes and Allen Culbertson.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Bunch Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Ehrhardt Baptist Church, Post Office Box 267, Ehrhardt, South Carolina 29081.

Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock, Wednesday morning, June 2, 2021 at Ehrhardt Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Ehrhardt Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the committal service at Ehrhardt Baptist Church.
