Mrs. Elizabeth Trammell Traylor, age 79, a longtime resident of Blackstock, South Carolina, entered into rest Wednesday afternoon, January 27, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro while under the care of Amedisys Hospice. She was the wife of the late Mr. Frank W. Traylor.
Born April 12, 1941, in Clinton, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Claude R. Trammell and the late Anne Celia King Trammell. She received her Bachelors degree from Winthrop University and retired as a paralegal from Duke Power in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a member and former organist at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Blackstock. She had a special love for Blue Grass music.
Surviving are: a sister-in-law, Mr. Linda Hardwick of Walterboro; two nieces, Lane Colson and her husband Donny of Walterboro and Virginia Hickman and her husband Johnathan of Walterboro; and a nephew, John Trammell and his wife Joyce of Athens, Georgia and their families. She is also survived by her late husband, Frank’s children, Frannie Dodds and her husband Steve, Toby Traylor, and Tim Traylor as well as their families.
Graveside funeral services will be held at the Blackstock Baptist Church in Blackstock, South Carolina.
