WALTERBORO " Mr. Elijah Lish Bob Pellum, Jr., 58, of Walterboro, died Wednesday afternoon, July 2, 2008, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Saturday morning, July 5, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel with his brother, The Reverend James H. Pellum officiating. Interment will follow in Green Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.



Mr. Pellum was born December 22, 1949, in Colleton County and was a son of the late Elijah Lish Pellum and the late Mary Magdaline Murdaugh Pellum. He had worked as a carpenter and electrician and had attended Living Word Outreach Ministries. He will be remembered for his love of singing and playing his guitar.



Surviving are: two sons, David Pellum of Davenport, Florida and Sam Pellum of South Dakota; two brothers, The Reverend James H. Pellum of Walterboro and Harry S. Pellum of Green Pond; two sisters, Shirley Robertson and her husband Carl of Walterboro and Brenda Groves and her husband Harold of Walterboro; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Pellum and Kenneth David Pellum, II; and a special Aunt, Marjorie Crews of Cummings.
