Edward Todd

GREEN POND " Mr. Edward Franklin Todd, 83, of Green Pond, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Colleton Medical Center. He was first married to the late Beatrice Cochran Todd and secondly to the late Ida Lee Pellum OQuinn Todd.



Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Sunday, January 3, 2009 at Great Swamp Baptist Church, 3396 Hendersonville Highway. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro.



Mr. Todd was born March 29, 1926 in Horry County, SC and was a son of the late Olin and Lula Jane Todd. He was a self-employed crane operator, but will always remain a legend drag-line operator. He was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church. Mr. Todd was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by many.



Surviving are: his daughter, Annette Hollander of Bryson City, NC; son, George Todd, Sr. of Bear Island; step-sons, Bennie OQuinn and Trowell OQuinn, both of Walterboro; brother, Buddy Todd of Georgetown; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Terry Gene Todd of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by many loving brothers and sisters.
