Edna Bielen

Mrs. Edna Jane Bielen, 75, of 981 Cromwell Lane, Walterboro, passed away Tuesday morning, April 14, 2009, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.



Mrs. Bielen was born February 12, 1934, in Laurel, Mississippi and was a daughter of the late Caryle McCoy Crisp Henson and Hazel Marie Dillion Henson. She was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a delivery driver with Dominos Pizza in Walterboro. She will be fondly recalled for the love she possessed for her family and the unconditional love she had for her children. She will be remembered for her favorite pastimes of fishing the local creeks and traveling.



Surviving are: her husband, Mr. David Joe Bielen; four sons, John S. Oliver, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dale F. Oliver of Colorado Spring, Colorado, Mike Oliver of Saint Stephens, Siegried Ziggy Oliver James Island; six daughters, Mary Francis Williams of Keystone Heights, Florida, Maria Murray Brookland, Arkansas, Bernadette Oliver of Holt, Florida, Orlnda Cunningham of Estero, Florida, Zita Bailey of Summerville, and Nicolette Oliver of Anderson. There are thirty-seven grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.



Family and friends may call from 12 noon until 2 oclock Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2009, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel. A celebration of her life will follow at 3 oclock at the residence, 981 Cromwell Lane, Walterboro.



In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice relating to cancer research or childrens development.
