Eddie Kinard

Master Sergeant William Eddie Kinard, United States Air Force (Ret.), age 74, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, October 15, 2017, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Dawn Andrea Kinard.
Funeral services will be held privately.
Born April 16, 1943 in Charleston, he was a son of the late Otis Eddie Kinard and the late Olivia Jean Peeples Kinard. Having resided in Alabama, he made Walterboro his home in 2006. Entering the United States Air Force at the age of 17, he retired in 1984 with the rank of Master Sergeant. He received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University and his Masters Degree in Management and Human Relations from Webster University. He was also a retired Assistant Warden from the Louisiana Corrections Corporation of America.
He is survived by a son, Clinton Eddie Kinard of Houston, Texas; and a son-in-law, Danny Alan Sweatman of Spring Town, Texas. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Marie Sweatman.
